Hello! This is my corner of the internet. I'm learning how to combine my interests in pixel art, Pokemon, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Zelda with my passion for web design. I've steadily been learning how to code HTML and CSS, and I'm creating pages as I go. Hope you enjoy!
I've finally updated the main page! Say hello to a brand new look! I learned how to do a responsive layout so that this page should scale depending on if you're on a tablet or phone. Let me know how it looks on your device!
The main draw to my website is the pixel art pages, which can be accessed above or on the side panel. Most of the links along the side aren't active, but they are my ambitions for the future of this website. I think the next page I should work on is the about me page.
I'm going to finally start working on the index page lol. I'm learning some code from w3schools and the cave of dragonflies HTML guide. I'm planning on making this page have some side bars, dropdown menus, and some affiliates. I would make an affiliate to some of the pokemon websites that I love, and maybe some other websites which I visit frequently. I will probably also include some social media links.
I've heard there are some templates I could use, and I might do that, though I kinda wanna try to figure it out and code it myself.
I've been using this site for my sprites for two years now. The sprites hub has been updated pretty regularly. I've seen a lot of progress in my pixel art over the past two years. I've adjusted highlights in a small way; I started mostly having the highlights up against the outline, and now I've moved the highlights slightly lower than the outline which creates a kind of glossy look. I've learned about hue shifting to create better color palettes. For shading the outlines, I've mostly over the years done a lot of shadow colors on the outline and never used black. But the official sprites do use black. I've started using more black in the outlines and my sprites have gotten better.
I'm excited to see where my pixel art can go next. I've gotten to practice landscapes, portraits, animations, NES style, isometric style, characters, and more.
